Product roadmap

BlockToBlock is being developed as a fast, affordable, offline-first estimator. The order matters: professional local estimating comes before connected enterprise administration.

Available now

  • Construction Planner, roofing, blocks, mortar, concrete and wall calculators.
  • Local materials, units, prices, labour, delivery and truck settings.
  • Saved projects, search, duplicate, edit and device sharing.
  • PDF and CSV estimates with project and cost information.
  • Private on-device purchase, receipt and equipment-hire records.
  • Metric/Imperial presentation and selected Krio/French interface coverage.

Building next

  1. Professional estimate and revision presentation across every export.
  2. A simpler measurement → quantities → costs → review → export journey.
  3. Versioned local backup, safe restore and project revision history.
  4. Reusable local price books and project templates.

Connected foundations after that

  1. Optional accounts and cloud backup.
  2. Shared organisation price books and templates.
  3. Team roles, permissions and project assignment.
  4. Versioned CSV/JSON exchange contracts for approved external tools.
  5. Confirmed supplier/accounting integrations.

Later research

  • Advanced plan takeoff, scanning and assisted data extraction.
  • Reviewed CAD interoperability: begin with DXF/IFC/PDF adapters that preserve source references, show candidate geometry or quantities and require explicit estimator approval before changing a BoQ.
  • Online MAJIK services and collaboration.
  • Approved marketplace, payment and supplier services.

Cloud, payments, live supplier data and AI analysis will only be described as available after secure server confirmation, provider approval and appropriate privacy/safety review.

CAD interoperability will follow the same rule. Imported drawing data will not be treated as certified, complete or calculation-ready until it has been validated and accepted by the person preparing the estimate.
